{"id":1280,"date":"2015-03-25T12:00:12","date_gmt":"2015-03-25T11:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wildlife-travel.com\/?p=1280"},"modified":"2019-07-24T21:41:30","modified_gmt":"2019-07-24T19:41:30","slug":"austernfischer-turakos-und-andere-voegel-in-suedafrika","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wildlife-travel.com\/de\/austernfischer-turakos-und-andere-voegel-in-suedafrika\/","title":{"rendered":"Austernfischer, Turakos und andere V\u00f6gel in S\u00fcdafrika"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>W\u00e4hrend meines dreimonatigen Aufenthalts bei der <a href=\"https:\/\/wildlife-travel.com\/de\/3-monate-bei-der-orca-foundation-in-plettenberg-bay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ORCA Foundation<\/a> wollte ich neben all den <a href=\"https:\/\/wildlife-travel.com\/de\/whale-watching-in-plettenberg-bay-suedafrika\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Walen<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/wildlife-travel.com\/de\/grosse-tuemmler-und-andere-delfine-in-plettenberg-bay-suedafrika\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Delfinen<\/a> nat\u00fcrlich auch mehr \u00fcber die V\u00f6gel in S\u00fcdafrika lernen. Als Nicht-Vogelexpertin war es f\u00fcr mich umso erfreulicher auf Menschen zu treffen, die mir die bunte Vogelwelt S\u00fcdafrikas ein wenig n\u00e4her brachte.<\/p>\n<p>Besonders positiv bleiben mir die Tage in Erinnerung an denen wir fr\u00fch morgens ein Team Vogelberinger begleiteten um ihnen bei ihrer Arbeit zuschauen zu k\u00f6nnen. F\u00fcr mich waren diese Tage besonders interessant, weil ich dort V\u00f6gel zu Gesicht bekommen habe, die ich alleine niemals angetroffen h\u00e4tte.<\/p>\n<div id=\"ez-toc-container\" werden V\u00f6gel nicht nur in S\u00fcdafrika beringt. Sondern auch an anderen Orten.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00f6gel werden beringt, weil Forscher dadurch wichtige Informationen \u00fcber einen langen Zeitraum erhalten und mehr \u00fcber ihre Aufenthaltsorte von ihnen erfahren. Dadurch erh\u00e4lt man zum Beispiel wichtige Daten um den Vogelzug zu erforschen. Aber auch Lebensdauer und Sterblichkeit k\u00f6nnen untersucht werden.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn V\u00f6gel beringt werden k\u00f6nnen interessante Erkenntnisse gewonnen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Beispiel war es f\u00fcr die Vogelberinger in S\u00fcdafrika besonders spannend als sie einen Fitis aus Sibirien \u201egefangen\u201c hatten.<\/p>\n<p>Nat\u00fcrlich werden alle V\u00f6gel nach der Beringung wieder freigelassen.<\/p>\n<p>Aber der Fitis aus Sibirien schien nicht wirklich wieder wegfliegen zu wollen\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8268 erlaubt einen Vogel aus dem Netz zu befreien. Jeder Vogelberinger in S\u00fcdafrika muss eine Ausbildung von zwei Jahren durchgehen.<\/p>\n<p>Erst dann ist es ihm\/ihr erlaubt eigenst\u00e4ndig V\u00f6gel zu beringen.<\/p>\n<p>Sobald die V\u00f6gel aus dem Netz entfernt wurden, wurden sie gewogen &#8211; so wie der S\u00fcdafrikanische Turako im Bild. Uns wurde auch einiges erkl\u00e4rt, so dass wir mehr \u00fcber die V\u00f6gel in S\u00fcdafrika lernen konnten.<\/p>\n<p>So wie zum Beispiel \u00fcber den Miombonektarvogel und seine Ern\u00e4hrungsweise. Sein nach unten gebogener Schnabel passt perfekt in die Bl\u00fcte und damit ist er perfekt als Nektarfresser angepasst. V\u00f6gel, die keinen so nach unten gebogenen Schnabel haben bleibt der Nektar dieser Bl\u00fcte verwehrt. nat\u00fcrlich immer aufmerksam was die V\u00f6gel in S\u00fcdafrika anging.<\/p>\n<p>Auch dann wenn wir gerade dabei waren nach Walen Ausschau zu halten.<\/p>\n<p>Von einem Wal-Beobachtungspunkt in V\u00f6gel, die ich einfach nicht kannte und auch keinen fragen konnte was das jetzt denn f\u00fcr ein Vogel ist. Diese V\u00f6gel habe ich dann \u00fcber <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inaturalist.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iNaturalist<\/a> bestimmen lassen. Das war der Fall beim Braunfl\u00fcgel-Mausvogel (<em>Colius striatus<\/em>), Waffenkiebitz (<em>Vanellus armatus<\/em>) und Rotschwingenstar (<em>Onychognathus morio<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><img sind immer wieder mal Kormorane vorbei geflogen denn im Robberg Nature Reserve gibt es eine <a href=\"http:\/\/oceanadventures.co.za\/cape-cormorants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brutkolonie der Kapscharben (<em>Phalacrocorax capensis<\/em>)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8302 size-large\" Vogel in S\u00fcdafrika ist der Strau\u00df (<em>Struthio camelus<\/em>). Einige Strau\u00dfe habe ich im Cape Peninsula National Park gesehen, den ich w\u00e4hrend einer organisierten Tour von Kapstadt aus besucht habe.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Auffangstation f\u00fcr einheimische und exotische Tiere.<\/p>\n<p>So sah ich einen S\u00fcdafrikanischen Turako (<em>Tauraco corythaix<\/em>)\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
