Alpine marmots are common animals in the Allg\u00e4u Alps. In Oberstdorf there is a hiking trail to the Kemptner H\u00fctte. Not far away from the hut Kemptner H\u00fctte is a spot where alpine marmots live. Hikers with time and patience can observe quite many alpine marmots in this area and experience unique wildlife encounters.
